Social Documentary

Throughout my life I have been dedicated to working for social justice. I use my photography as a tool to build awareness of important issues from around the world in hopes that it will serve as a catalyst for change. Each organization I photograph strives to improve people’s lives through education, training, and empowerment, helping individuals to become self sufficient and productive members of society.

Many of the NGO’s I work with focus on sports and their power to minimize the effects of poverty on marginalized youth and adults. These NGO’s along with others use my images to raise awareness, whether they be about sports, orphanages, clean water programs, or public health. My hope is that these photographs will inspire the viewer to take action.
